Plain terms.

Commissions and quotes

Every piece is quoted individually. A quote describes the piece, the wood, any personalization, the price and an estimated timeline. Work begins once the quote is accepted, and any deposit or payment terms are stated in the quote itself.

Natural variation

Wood is a natural material. Grain, colour and figure vary from board to board and will differ from photographs. That variation is part of what makes a piece its own.

Personalization

Engraved names, dates and inscriptions are made exactly as confirmed in writing. Please check spelling before confirming; personalized pieces cannot be remade at no charge for errors in the text supplied.

The Lifetime Craftsmanship Promise

The promise covers the craftsmanship of a piece made by Pastor & Grain. Natural wear, accidents, misuse and the effects of improper care are not defects; repairs for them are offered case by case. The full promise is described on the Lifetime Promise page.

Website

The content of this website is provided for information about the work. Product categories describe the kind of pieces made and are not an offer of stock. Nothing on these pages creates a contract until a quote is accepted.

These terms are deliberately plain. If anything is unclear, write to Pastorandgrain@gmail.com before ordering.
